Sync Errors & Troubleshooting

Diagnose failed pushes quickly so your marketplace listings stay accurate.

Common Error Types


  • Missing Data: Required fields (image, price, handle) not set in SortSwift.
  • Marketplace Rules: Price below minimum or invalid condition for the target platform.
  • Authentication: Expired access token or revoked permissions.
  • Rate Limiting: Marketplace temporarily rate-limited requests; retry later.

Resolving an Error


  1. Open the error entry to view the full message returned by the marketplace.
  2. Follow the suggested fix (e.g., upload an image, adjust price, reconnect integration).
  3. Click Retry. SortSwift re-queues the item; successful retries clear from the error list.
  4. If the issue persists, disable sync for that item and contact support for platform-specific help.

Staying Ahead of Errors


  • Enable email alerts for new sync errors so managers get notified immediately.
  • Filter errors by platform to assign work to the correct team member.
  • Use the Age column to tackle the oldest issues first.
  • Export unresolved errors if you need to escalate to marketplace support.
