Editing Inventory Items

Edit and update inventory item details including pricing, quantities, conditions, and more.

Opening the Item Editor


To edit an inventory item:

  1. Navigate to your inventory view
  2. Find the item you want to edit
  3. Click the "Edit" button or icon on the item row
  4. The edit dialog opens

Editable Fields


You can modify the following fields:

  • Quantity: Update stock quantity
  • Price: Set custom selling price
  • Cost: Update purchase cost
  • Condition: Change card condition (NM, LP, MP, HP, DM)
  • Language: Update card language
  • Printing: Change printing type (Normal, Foil, etc.)
  • Location: Move item to different location
  • Notes: Add or update notes

Editing Prices


Update item pricing:

  • Custom Price: Set a specific price for this item
  • Market Price: Option to use current market price
  • Cost Price: Update what you paid for the item
  • Margin Calculation: See profit margin automatically
  • Platform Prices: Set different prices for different platforms

Changing Quantity


Modify stock quantities:

  • Set Quantity: Enter exact quantity
  • Increase/Decrease: Adjust by a specific amount
  • Zero Stock: Set to 0 to mark as out of stock
  • History Tracking: Changes are logged in history

Changing Condition


Update card condition:

  • Condition Options: NM, LP, MP, HP, DM
  • Price Adjustment: Price may automatically adjust based on condition
  • Platform Sync: Updates will sync to connected platforms

Location Changes


Move items between locations:

  1. Select new location from dropdown
  2. System shows current location for reference
  3. Save changes to move item
  4. Location change is logged in history

Adding Notes


Add custom notes to items:

  • Internal Notes: Private notes for your reference
  • Damage Notes: Document any card damage
  • Source Notes: Track where item came from
  • Hold Requests: Note if item is on hold for customer

Saving Changes


After making edits:

  1. Review all changes in the edit dialog
  2. Click "Save" or "Update"
  3. Changes are immediately applied
  4. Item updates in inventory view
  5. Changes sync to connected platforms
  6. Edit is logged in item history

Canceling Edits


To discard changes without saving:

  • Click "Cancel" button
  • Or press Escape key
  • Or click outside the dialog
  • All changes are discarded
  • Item remains unchanged
