Platform Synchronization

Sync inventory with connected platforms including Shopify, eBay, CardTrader, and ManaPool.

Overview


Keep your inventory synchronized across all connected platforms:

  • Automatic Updates: Changes sync to platforms automatically
  • Multi-Platform: Sync to multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Quantity Sync: Keep stock levels accurate everywhere
  • Price Sync: Update prices across all platforms
  • Listing Management: Create and update listings

Viewing Sync Status


Check sync status for items in inventory:

  • Sync Indicators: Icons show which platforms item is synced to
  • Last Synced: See when item was last updated on each platform
  • Sync Errors: View any sync failures or warnings
  • Pending Changes: See items waiting to sync

Manual Sync


Manually trigger synchronization:

  1. Select items to sync
  2. Click "Sync to Platforms"
  3. Choose which platforms to sync to
  4. Select what to sync (quantity, price, details)
  5. Click "Sync Now"
  6. Monitor sync progress
  7. Review sync results

Selective Sync


Control what syncs to each platform:

  • Platform Selection: Choose specific platforms per item
  • Sync Fields: Select which fields to update
  • Exclude Items: Mark items to exclude from sync
  • Conditional Sync: Sync based on rules (price, quantity, etc.)

Handling Sync Conflicts


Resolve conflicts between SortSwift and platforms:

  • Conflict Detection: System identifies discrepancies
  • Priority Rules: Set which system takes priority
  • Manual Resolution: Review and choose correct value
  • Conflict History: Track past conflicts and resolutions

Sync Errors


Common sync errors and solutions:

  • Connection Errors: Check platform connection status
  • Permission Errors: Verify platform permissions are granted
  • Rate Limits: System automatically retries when limits reset
  • Invalid Data: Fix data validation issues
  • Missing Fields: Ensure required fields are populated

Retrying Failed Syncs


Retry items that failed to sync:

  1. View failed sync items
  2. Review error messages
  3. Fix any issues (missing data, invalid values, etc.)
  4. Click "Retry Sync"
  5. Monitor retry progress
  6. Verify successful sync

Bulk Synchronization


Sync large numbers of items:

  • Select All: Use filters then sync all matching items
  • Batch Processing: Items process in manageable batches
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor sync progress in real-time
  • Pause/Resume: Pause long-running syncs if needed

Sync History


Review synchronization history:

  • Sync Log: Complete record of all sync operations
