Understand subscription packages, scan limits, and billing information.


Subscription Overview

SortSwift offers multiple subscription packages with different scan limits:

  • 500 Scans: Entry-level package for small operations
  • 1,000 Scans: Standard package for moderate usage
  • 2,200 Scans: Popular package for regular users
  • 5,000 Scans: Professional package for high-volume scanning
  • 10,000 Scans: Business package for larger operations
  • 20,000 Scans: Enterprise package for commercial use
  • 50,000 Scans: Large-scale enterprise package
  • Unlimited: Highest tier with unlimited scans

Accessing the Dashboard

Subscription requirements for dashboard access:

  1. You must have an active subscription to access the overview dashboard
  2. If you don't have a subscription, you'll be redirected to /billing/subscribe
  3. Subscriptions must be in 'active', 'trialing', or 'trial_ending' status
  4. Multiple subscriptions use the highest scan limit

Subscription Status

Understanding subscription statuses:

  • Active: Subscription is active and scans are available
  • Trialing: Free trial period, full functionality available
  • Trial Ending: Trial is ending soon, upgrade recommended
  • Canceled: Subscription canceled, access may be limited
  • Past Due: Payment issues, may lose access

Understanding Scan Limits

How scan limits work:

  • Scans are deducted from your monthly allowance
  • Remaining scans = (Subscription Limit - Monthly Usage)
  • Some subscriptions allow scan rollover from previous periods
  • If you exceed your limit, remaining scans can go negative
  • Monthly usage resets at the start of each billing period

Managing Your Subscription

To manage your subscription:

  • Visit the billing/subscription page
  • View your current subscription package
  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan
  • Manage payment methods
  • View billing history
  • Cancel subscription if needed
