How POS orders integrate with Shopify for seamless e-commerce synchronization.

Draft Order Creation: Orders are created as draft orders in Shopify (bypass inventory checks)
Line Item Mapping: Products with variant_ids are mapped to Shopify variants; custom items are created without variants
Tax Handling: Tax totals are passed to Shopify with proper tax exemption support
Discount Allocation: Discounts are allocated to line items in Shopify format
Customer Linking: Orders are linked to Shopify customers if customer has shopifyCustomerIds
Fulfillment: Fulfillments are created automatically when order includes inventory items
Custom Items: Items without variant_ids are added as custom line items with title, quantity, and price
