Getting Started

Access live camera scanning, understand the interface, and set up your webcam for scanning.

To access Live Camera scanning:

  1. Navigate to /scanner/scan-webcam in your SortSwift account
  2. Grant camera permissions when prompted by your browser
  3. The webcam feed appears in the main scanning area
  4. Position cards in front of the camera
  5. Cards are automatically detected and scanned

Interface Overview

The Live Camera interface includes:

  • Webcam Preview: Live camera feed showing card positioning
  • Scanned Cards Panel: List of successfully scanned cards
  • Card Preview: Large preview of the currently selected card
  • Controls: Start/stop scanning, clear queue, navigation buttons
  • Settings: Camera settings, scanning options, export settings
  • Statistics: Scan count, total value, recognition statistics

Scanner Balance

Before scanning, check your scanner balance:

  • Balance shown in the top navigation bar
  • Each scan consumes one scan credit
  • Balance resets based on your subscription plan
  • Rollover scans may be available from previous periods
  • Top up credits if needed via the wallet dropdown
