Camera Access Issues


Camera Not Detected
  • Check that your webcam is properly connected
  • Try unplugging and reconnecting the camera
  • Restart your browser
  • Check if other applications are using the camera
  • Update your camera drivers
  • Try a different USB port
Permission Denied
  • Click "Allow" when browser asks for camera permission
  • Check browser settings to ensure camera access is enabled
  • Clear browser cache and cookies, then try again
  • Check system privacy settings (Windows/Mac) to allow browser camera access
  • Try a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues

Recognition Problems


Cards Not Being Recognized
  • Ensure card is fully visible in the camera frame
  • Improve lighting conditions - use bright, even lighting
  • Hold card steady and avoid motion blur
  • Check focus - adjust camera focus if possible
  • Ensure card surface is clean and not reflective
  • Try different angles to reduce glare
  • Verify your camera resolution is set to at least 720p
Wrong Cards Identified
  • Use the edit function to manually select the correct card
  • Ensure the entire card is visible in the frame
  • Improve image quality by adjusting lighting
  • Scan cards one at a time for best accuracy
  • Clean the card surface if it's damaged or worn

Performance Issues


Slow Scanning Speed
  • Close unnecessary browser tabs and applications
